Astro matching with special reference to Manglik vs. Non-Manglik

Now a days there are numerous factors to look for in search of Bride/Groom like age, complexion, height, qualification, job, salary, city, status, family background etc. besides general matching of horoscopes of prospective bride/ groom. In many cases parents are satisfied with most of these factors but one factor still confuses them in taking final decision and that is MANGLIK DOSH.

Undue importance should not be given to Manglik Dosh in Horoscope. Most of the 'Pandits' (not Astrologers) simply advise their client to look for Manglik match for a Manglik boy or girl, without carefully checking whether the Manglik Dosh is ineffective or would get cancelled in the horoscope. Some of the conditions when Manglik dosh would get cancelled are given below:

1) If Mars is posited in its own sign or in its exaltation sign or in Exaltation Navamsha or in Karka Navamsha, no Manglik (Kuja) Dosh is caused.
2) If Mars is posited in 2nd in Mithuna or Kanya no Manglik Dosh would occur.
3) If Mars is posited in 4th in Mesh or in Vrishchik, there would be no Manglik Dosh.
4) If Mars is posited in 7th in Karka or Makar, there would be no Manglik Dosh.
5) If Mars is associated with Jupiter or Moon, there would be no Manglik Dosh.
6) If Mars is aspected by Saturn, it would cancel Manglik Dosh.
7) If Mars is posited in Mitra Rashi, it would cancel Manglik Dosh.

Moreover in more than 75% of the cases, the Manglik dosh in one's horoscope would get neutralized with Non- Manglik boy/ girl if match making is carried out properly by some learned Astrologer (not pandits) or some good Astrological software like Future Point or similar quality software. Hence there is hardly any need to specify/ classify one as Manglik or Non- Manglik.

Note :
Some Astrological software easily/ cheaply available in grey market does not provide detailed analysis of Manglik matching and without considering the above mentioned conditions of Manglik Cancelation/ neutralization simply conclude that a Manglik must marry a Manglik partner only, which is simply an incorrect conclusion. Rather one should consult some learned Astrologer for this analysis.
